Hello, this is Taehyun Kim, director of Sudden Attack Zero Point.
Pre-Season 2 begins on 10/01 (Thu). In this Dev Note, we would like to introduce the changes and additions coming in Pre-Season 2.
During Pre-Season 1, many players participated in Ranked Matches, and based on the data accumulated during that process,
we plan to improve the current Ranked Match system and renew the composition of Season Crates, which are play rewards.
Additionally, we will also briefly inform you about our future plans for cheat countermeasures and Custom Match updates.
Through this Dev Note, we hope to clear up much of what you've been wondering about.
[Pre-Season 2 Ranked Match Revamp]
- •Ranked Match RP Reset
With the start of Pre-Season 2, Ranked Match RP will be reset, and you will start with placement matches.
Placement matches will consist of 5 matches, the same as Pre-Season 1. - •Ranked Match RP System Change
Starting from Pre-Season 2, the Ranked Match base RP will be changed from the previous 1,000 RP to 1,400 RP. RP will be adjusted based on 1,400 RP and placement results, and the system will be improved to reflect skill differences more precisely.Category

Participation rewards will be given to all players who play Ranked Matches before the season ends,
while tier rewards will be distributed based on the final achieved tier; both are cosmetic rewards.
First, during the maintenance on 10/01 (Thu), an emblem and a banner commemorating Pre-Season 1 will be distributed to players who played 1 or more Ranked Matches in Pre-Season 1.
If you haven't participated in Pre-Season 1 Ranked Matches yet, please play 1 or more Ranked Matches before the season ends and claim your commemorative rewards.

For Pre-Season 2, we are also making changes to the Season Crate composition.
Black Parts will be removed from Rare Crates, and new Pink Parts will be added.

[Coming Up]
- •Custom Match Enhancements
Since the update, many of you have shared your thoughts about the room list not being supported.
To bring Custom Match to you as quickly as possible, we first made it available in a form where you join rooms using a serial number.
From the start, the service direction we aimed for with Custom Match was to support room creation, room list browsing, and joining games already in progress,
so that you can freely choose the room you want and enjoy your games.
What you see now is not the finished form of Custom Match, so we will keep adding these features one by one and continue to improve it.
Along with that, we are also reviewing a way for you to earn EXP in Custom Match as well.
We will let you know again about the specific improvements and their schedule once they are confirmed. - •Strengthening Response to Cheaters
We are well aware that cheaters are one of the biggest problems that harm the play experience of legitimate players.
Currently, in Sudden Attack Zero Point, we are responding to cheaters in various ways, including kicking players from matches through real-time detection, report confirmation through the reporting system, and sanctions based on detection results.
In addition, by comprehensively utilizing various indicators such as detection information from NGS (Nexon Game Security), report records, and suspicious logs identified during game execution,
we are strengthening our cheat detection system.
Along with this, we are building and operating an aimbot detection model that analyzes actual play data,
and after verifying the detection results, we impose sanctions on users confirmed to have cheated.
Going forward, we will expand the indicators used to identify cheaters more quickly and accurately.
We also plan to further refine and develop our detection system by adding new detection methods.
As cheaters continuously try new methods to evade detection, we will also continuously enhance our response methods accordingly.
We will improve the things we shared in this Dev Note one by one, so that you can feel the changes for yourselves.
Thank you to everyone who plays Sudden Attack Zero Point and always sends us so many thoughts.
We will keep working to deliver a better play experience.
Thank you.
