Hello, everyone. This is Sudden Attack Zero Point.
Here is a guide to the Ranked Match system.
From how the Ranked Match tiers are structured to how to earn Rank Points (RP), check it all out right now!
▣ What Is Ranked Match?
Ranked Match is a ranking system that automatically matches you with players of similar skill based on Rank Points (RP), which are calculated according to your match results and contribution.
[Ranked Match Eligibility Level]
To ensure fair competition among players who have learned the basics of gameplay, only players at account level 9 (Sergeant First Class I) or higher can participate.
[Ranked Match Progression]
|
① Join Ranked Match |
- Once you reach account level 9 (Sergeant First Class I), you can join Ranked Match. |
|
② Placement Matches |
- Placement matches are held to measure your skill. - After playing a total of 5 matches, your starting rank is determined by your win/loss results. |
|
③ Initial Tier Assignment |
- Your initial Ranked Match tier is assigned based on your placement match results. - After that, your tier rises or falls according to your match results. |
|
④ Promotion Match |
- This is the gateway to move up from your current tier to the next. - You can only advance to the next tier by winning your Promotion Match.
※ There are no Promotion Matches from BRONZE I through SILVER III. ※ Once you win a Promotion Match, you do not have to play it again when you later re-enter the same tier. |
▣ Ranked Match Tiers
Ranked Match tiers are divided into a total of 17 tiers, including ‘UNRANKED’.
There are no Promotion Matches from BRONZE I through SILVER III; from GOLD I onward, you can only enter a tier by winning its Promotion Match.

▣ How to Earn Rank Points (RP)
Rank Points (RP) are the skill score used in Ranked Match.
|
Match Result |
- Whether you win or lose a match is the biggest factor affecting your ‘RP’ changes. (Win: +RP / Loss: -RP) - The amount of change may vary depending on the ‘RP’ gap between your team and the opposing team. |
|
Play Contribution |
- You can earn bonus RP based on how much you contribute to a match, such as kills, assists, and saves. |
※ If you leave during a Ranked Match, you can rejoin.
※ If the match ends before you rejoin, or if you give up on rejoining, you will be subject to a matchmaking restriction and an RP deduction penalty.
▣ Ranked Match Party Play Support
Party play, in which you can play together with other players, is supported.
- Regardless of Ranked Match tier, up to 5 players can form a party as one team. However, if the tier difference is 5 or more, Ranked Match matchmaking is not possible. (The Game Start button is disabled.)
- If even one party member is under a matchmaking restriction, the time remaining until the restriction is lifted is shown to all party members, and Ranked Match matchmaking is not possible. (The Game Start button is disabled.)
- If even one party member has been isolated from the regular matchmaking pool because abnormal gameplay was detected, all party members are placed in a separate matchmaking pool isolated from the regular pool.
- If you leave during a Ranked Match, you leave the party immediately as well; when you rejoin, if party members remain, you are regrouped into that party.
